How to Remove or Hide the Navbar in a Blogger/Blogspot blog? The Navbar is the a navigation bar and a search bar which can be seen on top of Blogger blogs. This feature can be useful to some bloggers while others find it annoying and useless especially the 'next blog' feature.
The Navbar comes to many colors but it doesn't blend well with other non-default templates. Removing or hiding the NavBar is not officially against Blogger TOS, but many probloggers discourage others from removing it because they think it’s a great feature with more improvements to come. If you feel you should hide the Navbar, do the instructions below at your own risk ;0
Before you do this simple trick, be sure to back-up your template first. To do this,
1. Go to your Dashboard
2. Click Lay-out
3. Go to 'Edit HTML'
4. Find this code:
]]>]]>
Press Ctrl F then place the above code on the search box and press Enter.
5. Put the codes below above the code above.
#navbar-iframe {height:0px;visibility:hidden;display:none}
6. Press Preview.
7. If everything worked fine, then Save it.
8. If the Navbar is still there, repeat from step 1.
9. If your layout got screwed up, just upload the backup of your template.
