How to Remove Navbar in Blogspot Blog?

How to Remove Navbar in Blogspot BlogHow to Remove or Hide the Navbar in a Blogger/Blogspot blog? The Navbar is the a navigation bar and a search bar which can be seen on top of Blogger blogs. This feature can be useful to some bloggers while others find it annoying and useless especially the 'next blog' feature.

The Navbar comes to many colors but it doesn't blend well with other non-default templates. Removing or hiding the NavBar is not officially against Blogger TOS, but many probloggers discourage others from removing it because they think it’s a great feature with more improvements to come. If you feel you should hide the Navbar, do the instructions below at your own risk ;0

Before you do this simple trick, be sure to back-up your template first. To do this,
1. Go to your Dashboard
2. Click Lay-out
3. Go to 'Edit HTML'
4. Find this code:

Press Ctrl F then place the above code on the search box and press Enter.

5. Put the codes below above the code above.

#navbar-iframe {height:0px;visibility:hidden;display:none}

6. Press Preview.
7. If everything worked fine, then Save it.
8. If the Navbar is still there, repeat from step 1.
9. If your layout got screwed up, just upload the backup of your template.

Brain Damaging Habits You Should Avoid

Brain Damaging Habits You Should AvoidAre you aware that there are things you should not do habitually as they may cause damage to your brain? Check out the top 10 habits you might be doing that can damage your brain. Admittedly, some of the things listed below are my habits ;( I hope I can avoid them in the future days.

1. No Breakfast - People who do not take breakfast are going to have a lower blood sugar level.
This leads to an insufficient supply of nutrients to the brain causing brain degeneration.

2. Overeating - It causes hardening of the brain arteries, leading to a decrease in mental power.

3. Smoking - It causes multiple brain shrinkage and may lead to Alzheimer disease.

4. High Sugar consumption - Too much sugar will interrupt the absorption of proteins and nutrients causing malnutrition and may interfere with brain development.

5. Air Pollution - The brain is the largest oxygen consumer in our body. Inhaling polluted air decreases the supply of oxygen to the brain, bringing about a decrease in brain efficiency.

6. Sleep Deprivation - Sleep allows our brain to rest. Long term deprivation from sleep will accelerate the death of brain cells.

7. Head covered while sleeping - Sleeping with the head covered increases the concentration of carbon dioxide and decrease concentration of oxygen that may lead to brain damaging effects.

8. Working your brain during illness - Working hard or studying with sickness may lead to a decrease in effectiveness of the brain as well as damage the brain.

9. Lacking in stimulating thoughts - Thinking is the best way to train our brain, lacking in brain stimulation thoughts may cause brain shrinkage.

10. Talking Rarely - Intellectual conversations will promote the efficiency of the brain

iPhone 3G Philippines Via Globe Telecoms

iPhone Available In Philippines Via Globe TelecomYou heard it right. Apple iPhone will soon available in the Philippines made possible by Globe Telecom - the official network carrier of the said cellular phone. As stated on a short two-paragraph article on their website dated May 12, 2008, Globe, SingTel, Bharti Airtel and Optus announced that they have signed an agreement with Apple to bring the iPhone to the Philippines, Singapore, India, and Australia later this year.

More information will be released at a later date.

Truth is, I can't wait for iPhone's official release here in my country. It is my dream phone and I am looking forward having my own set. Last year, I heard it will be available here earlier in 2008 but it seems that there was some sort of delay. Whatever the reason may be, what matters most is that it will be finally available in the Philippine market sooner. Now, I don't have to keep asking myself "When will iPhone available in the Philippines".

According to Inquirer's news report, a source from Globe said the iPhone may be launched locally starting September this year. Yippeee!!! I have to start saving money now. Only months to wait and I will officially have my own iPhone. Maybe I will postpone buying the Sony Alpha DSLR-A350 Digital Camera for now. That can wait.

Manny Pacquiao Vs David Diaz on June 28 2008

Manny Pacquiao Vs David Diaz on June 28 2008Watch out for the Pacquiao versus Diaz on June 28 2008 and bet who will win on the match!!! Manny Pacquiao, dubbed as Pambansang Kamao, has formally started training in General Santos City. He has less than two months of training before his fight against the World Boxing Council (WBC) lightweight champion David Diaz.

Several conditioning exercises that Pacquiao performs include shadow boxing, speedball and sit ups to get his body back into fighting form. As he mentioned on some news report, 7 weeks of full-blast preparation would be enough for him to reach peak form. On May 10, Pacquiao will leave for Los Angeles for intense training at Freddie Roach’s Wild Card Gym.

Meanwhile, his opponent Diaz is already on his second week of training at the JABB Gym in Chicago.

Personally, I am not actually a big fan of Pacquiao and to boxing sports per se, but knowing he brought pride and honor to our country, I am much pleasured to post a topic about Manny Pacquiao and his upcoming fight on this blog ;0

Go go Manny!!!
