Manny Pacquiao is currently the WBC Lightweight Champion, WBC Super Featherweight Champion, and the Ring Magazine number 1 pound for pound boxer in the world. He was also the former IBF Super Bantamweight Champion and WBC Flyweight Champion.
After the June 28 fight with Diaz, the next big question is Who Will Be Manny Pacquiao’s Next Opponent? Here's a list of possible opponents of Pacquiao:
- Edwin Valero, currently WBA Super Featherweight Champion and has the biggest chance of being the next opponent of Pacquiao.
- Ricky “Hitman” Hatton: As declared, Freddie Roach, Pacman's trainer, wants him to be the next Pacquiao's opponent. Hmmmn, might be.
- Nate Campbell, WBA, WBO and IBF Lightweight Champion and since the only title missing is the one currently on Pacman’s waist, there's a possibility they will face in the ring.
- Joel “El Cepillo” Casamayor will fight Juan Manuel Marquez on September. If ever he wins, again, there's a possibility he'll be the opponent.
Pacquiao defeated several Mexican boxers namely Marco Antonio Barrera, Erik Morales, Juan Manuel Marquez, and recently David Diaz. No doubt, he is dubbed as the "Republica Enemy No. 1". So who's name will be included in the list?
