2008 Beijing Olympics Updates

The 2008 Summer Olympics or popularly known as Beijing Olympics will be held from August 8 to 24, 2008 in Beijing People's Republic of China. Over 10,500 athletes are expected to compete in about 302 events among 28 sports or games.

The Olympic slogan is One World, One Dream which calls upon the world to unite in the Olympic spirit. Below are the sports to be played during the Olympic games in alphabetical oder. The number of events in each sport is indicated in parentheses.
