Tips for UPCAT 2009 Takers

The University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) will be held on August 2 and August 3, 2008 (Saturday and Sunday) wherein around 70,000 students will take the exam. Do you want to pass the test and be officially admitted at the university? If so, here are some tips that may help you pass the 2009 UPCAT:

The Do's:
1. Review or scan your lessons. Be ready before the examination.
2. Think positive and relax. Always think that you can do it. Be optimistic.
3. Take a full breakfast on exam day. Having an empty stomach makes you out of focus.
4. Go to the restroom before the exam starts.
5. Bring a watch so that you can budget your time for the exam.
6. Read and follow instructions carefully.
7. Answer first the easy questions and skip the difficult ones. Get back to them later if you still have time.
8. Make intelligent guesses for questions you really are unsure about the answer.
9. Use the extra time to review your answers.
10. Pray and hope for the best. Good luck!!!
