Usain Bolt of Jamaica received gold medal today in 2008 Beijing Olympics after completing the 200 meters in 19.31 seconds, which is another world record beating Michael Johnson's which was 19.62 seconds. Bolt is also considered the first Olympian since Carl Lewis to sweep the 100- and 200-meter gold medals at once.
Churandy Martina of Netherlands Antilles was second to hit the line while Wallace Spearmon of the United States in third. However, the two were disqualified. Thus Shawn Crawford got the silver medal and Walter Dix of the United States won bronze.
